Foundry operative wanted in Craven County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Craven County, North Carolina. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
