Shakeout operator wanted in Ifako/Ijaye

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State. Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
