Aluminium tig welder — Jones County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Jones County, South Dakota. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
