Join our team: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Iroquois County, Illinois. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On a typical shift you will assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line.
