Sewing machine operator — Dawson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Dawson County, Texas. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
