Join our team: paint booth operator (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Dundee City, Scotland. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. Your main tasks: • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth 5+ years on the tools preferred.
