Sand plant operator — Buckingham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Buckingham County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
