Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Geidam, Yobe State. You will work in a residential tower block. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. ₦85,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
