Plant operator (dozer) — Pennington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Pennington County, Minnesota. You will work at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels On a typical shift you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; refuel the machine and record running hours.
