Slinger signaller — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Carroll County, Ohio. The job is at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
