Ironing operator wanted in Ofu

We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Ofu, Kogi State. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Meals and transport allowance provided.
