Framing carpenter — Northampton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. On the job you will handle: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
