Core maker wanted in Ben Hill County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Ben Hill County, Georgia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
