Semi-automatic welder wanted in Eddy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Eddy County, New Mexico. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time with occasional weekends.
