Garment machinist — Kaufman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Kaufman County, Texas. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 1+ years on the tools preferred.
