Argon welding operator wanted in Mitchell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Mitchell County, Georgia. The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
