Formwork joiner — Butler County

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Butler County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Day-to-day duties: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
