Foundry operative wanted in Baldwin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Baldwin County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
