Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Warren County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
