VMC operator • Orange County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Orange County, Texas. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Part-time with flexible hours.
