Press machine operator — Cortland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Cortland County, New York. You will be based on a production line. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Your main tasks: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
