We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Stark County, Illinois. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. You will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; score the top of loaves before baking; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
