Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Madera County, California. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
