Short order cook — Coventry

Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Coventry, England. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat The role involves: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
