Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Gregg County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
