System formwork carpenter • Morgan County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Morgan County, Alabama. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On a typical shift you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
