We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Noble County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Rotating shifts.
