Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Middlesex County, New Jersey. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
