Formwork erector — Nelson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Nelson County, Virginia. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts We offer $190 per day plus benefits.
