Groundworker — Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Washington County, New York. You will work on a residential housing site. The role involves set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
