Advanced scaffolder • Grant County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Grant County, West Virginia. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. You will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
