Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Highland County, Virginia. The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
