Die-casting operator — Bwari

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Six days a week, one day off.
