Now hiring: toolroom milling operator (Missouri)

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Barry County, Missouri. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. You will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time, day shift.
