Join our team: elevator technician (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Chautauqua County, Kansas. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards You will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
