Now hiring: bricklayer (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
