Now hiring: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Clackamas County, Oregon. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds The role involves wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
