Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Calhoun County, Florida. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
