Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Marion County, Missouri. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents.
