Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Madison County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
