Stitching operator — Roosevelt County

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
