Elevator repair technician — Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Lincoln County, Maine. The job is on a high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
