Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Putnam County

Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Putnam County, West Virginia. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
