TIG welder — Norton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Norton County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
