Gas service engineer — Mecosta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Mecosta County, Michigan. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day to day you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Pay around $4,500 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
