Plant operator (dozer) — Alameda County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Alameda County, California. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
