Great opportunity: argon welding operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Shackelford County, Texas. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
