Backhoe loader operator • DeSoto County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in DeSoto County, Mississippi. The job is at a plant hire yard. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Overtime paid at a premium rate.
