Garment machinist — Heard County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Heard County, Georgia. The role involves: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
