Quality control inspector • San Mateo County, California

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality control inspector in San Mateo County, California. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. What we are looking for: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Overtime paid at a premium rate.
